2006 Canadian Radio Music Awards

The 2006 Canadian Radio Music Awards were given out today as part of the Canadian Music Week conference.

Arcade Fire won Best New Group Or Solo Artist in the Rock category, besting fellow nominees Grady, Matt Mays & El Torpedo, Mobile Montreal, and Stripper's Union.

Also during the Canadian Radio Music Award luncheon,
Blue Rodeo was inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame.
